Rick at BBM (Big Balls Motorsport 9/12 Garling Road Kings Park) has invited us over there on Saturday the 16th of May to use the ramp. Rick is a bit of a Jeep fan and has recently bought a XJ and after a chat with Reg has asked us if we'd like to use the ramp to test out our rigs.

If your interested in coming post up so we can get some numbers and put on a good show and hopefully boost the profile of the club even further. Every type of Jeep is welcome and the more we get the better, this is an exclusive SJC ramp day so no queing up with other vehicles. It's not a comp or anything but we'll take measurements and get some results for bragging rights ;)

It will be interesting to see what the flatfender can do with such a short wheelbase. Hope I can be there.

Here's mine from last time, I actually didn't have any pics but found this on another forum as the last time was an interclub challenge so lots of spectators.

And a different ramp but what the other side looks like, the whole idea is to measure the available articulation, also helps you check for rubbing and adjust bump stop length etc.

So the ramp day is coming up, who else is coming along? Some of us got some practice in at Coffs can you do better ;)

First Jeep up the ramp is at 9:00am.

They do flex better with the tailgate open ;D The pre update models do it even better.

sounds like a fun day!

It will be the same ramp that is being used at the 4wd Expo. This year at the expo you can enter two cars per club and there are two classes for the trophies - under 33" tyres and over 33" tyres

we can't go to the BBM day as the other club we are in is hosting the Assoc Qtrly meeting out at Rylstone.

have not descided about the ramp at expo yet.

We will be up in the Rylstone area in June when we go to Bylong for the long weekend.
You can let us know how cold it is. I am thinking thermal underwear might be the go.

Depends on number of vehicles but I'll be there until at least 11:00 probably later if others stay, ideally 12:00. I wouldn't mind getting some good pics on the ramp and making the most of it.

Couple of late comers were James with a WJ (who exibited a nice wheel lift when he shot up the ramp a bit quickly :)) and a former member whos name I didn't catch that we talked into putting his stock Commander up!

It was great to meet everyone on and around THE RAMP! Thanks to Steve or whoever took all these great pics. This is the most interesting pic I have of The Beast in the 2 weeks I've had him! I look forward to a Menai thrash when I get back in country in July.
