While on hunting trip near Narrabri, we visited - Mt. Kaputar National Park. When was 39 C in Narrabri , the temperature was around 20 C on the top (1500 m above sea ). The camping is very nice, tidy and has all amenities (water , toilets, fire pits , showers, bbq ). The camping ground is situated around 1400 m above the sea. If you dont fancy camping, you can rent a cabin from NP (3 cabins available). Access is very easy (2wd). 45 min from Narrabri.
