Saturday 27 March - anyone for trip to Watagans or ZigZag/Lost City?

I just want to go somewhere for bit of offroad action, after waiting for long time for some spare parts on my car and this is the only day I am free for some time. :-) I have been there but happy if someone leads the way. MARTIN

If I get the TPS unit in time I'm in & happy to lead(Zig Zag) if no one else offers as I've done this trip multiple times. But would really like to do the Wattagans again.

one more option: Lyell Lake (Ridal area) near Lithgow - I have been there few times, it is also nice - few easy water crossings, steep hills, ...

Do I need a snorkel for those water crossings?
If not I would prefer to go to Lyell lake as I never been there before

You'd be fine, I've done them pre-snorkel without any problem and my XJ's lower than yours!

I did the Lake Lyell trip the other week in my stock ZJ no water problems there at least

yes, SteveC, are you interested? if yes, do you prefer ZigZag/Lost City or Lyell Lake area? Lyell Lake is shorter trip, ZIgZag/Lost City can be easily extended, e.g. go towards Newnes, there is really nice nature/rocks along the road
