Upper Colo River

Just returned from three days on the Upper Colo River. This is a possible future weekend trip destination with a number of tracks and trails across the area (and the Wheeney Creek Track runs adjacent to this area). Very hot this past weekend but the Colo River was a great spot for swimming, and the kids would love it. Camping is available at Upper Colo Reserve, which is administered by Hawkesbury Council.

That looks like a really nice spot Glen, especially for those of us that like a weekend away, camping and relaxing with a few people so inclined. Not too far from home as well.
