Hi,

I recvntly bought my first Jeep. I have no compalints at all, am now a committed Jeep tribe member:) .

My question is this and may seem a little newb but, Does anyone know wether you can put a larger capacity fuel tank in a 2002 TJ Wrangler?

Love my Jeep, but I would like to extend its range...

Thanks for any suggestions or advice

G'day mate and welcome to the family. Cheapest way to do it might be jerry cans. Thats what i do when i m on a long trip. So u r not carrying around extra weight when u dont need it. U could get a stand fabricated to go on ur spare wheel.

I have a "Long Ranger" tank on my Unlimited JK and they also make a 43L Auxiliary Fuel Tank for the TJ
Long Ranger tanks are manufactured by "Out of Town 4WD", they are located at Barnsley, just south of Newcastle but most 4WD accessory outlets supply and fit them.

GenRight do a larger replacement tank. They also incorporate a nice beefy skid plate.
Harrass me offline if you'd like to discuss these.
