Due to having to pull on the sugarloaf trip, I have decided to go and have an explore around Freemans on saturday and check the place out for future SJC trips.

At this point it's me and jason + a poo trowl driving friend. Meeting point will be the mobil servo at Berowra @ 9.30am.

Contact me on 041 044 0988 if you would like to come or want some more details.

Grading will be C, but we are looking for B type trails when there.

If you are coming make sure you have your recovery gear as well.

I might as well join you guys then, had my heart set on doing some 4wding this weekend. I have to drop off a boat in Gosford on the way up though. What is a good place to meet up there and about what time?

depends on how far into gosford you need to go.

It might be wirth getting an early start and meeting us at the bottom of the hill at ourimbah. By the time we got there it'd be about 10 - 10.30, Where the rest area off the Xpressway is if you know where I'm talking about.

Feel free to call me if you want, 041 044 0988 and we can work something out.

Ok, I don't know the area that well, but I'll aim to be back on the expressway about 10. If I have any problems finding the place or if anything changes I'll give you a call. My number is 0414 954141 if you need to call me.

So all going well I'll see you at the rest area about 10.15.

A Jeep?, a liability?

Spoken like someone who's gone for too long without an offroad trip.

My suggestion, a nice day out in the dunes on Sunday

another great day out.

Had a few issue's with the CJ (as always) and look forward to seeing some of the piccies that where taken.

The video footage came out OK. Can't upload any of it as I don't have the right gear at home to do so.

I'm sure Jase will get some pics uploaded soon though

Yep, awesome is the word. My jeep flexed more on Sat than it has in its entire life! Now I just have to figure out what the vibration and slight power loss during acceleration is, as well as all those new rattling sounds!

Thanks alot guys for a great day. Can't wait for the pics and the video.

Yeh was a great little outing.

Still got me beat how that fan blade went like it did. It's scored the core of the radiator and there's a hole in it now.

Quote on tube fenders and cage today was under 1K so that's what I'll be doing to fix the damage. from the little lean I had

At least I was able to drive it home and Heather didn't kill me when I told her what I'd done. Maybe she's just a seasoned pro at hearing I've broken something again.

Those rattling sounds are it wearing in  Give it a look over to make sure every thing that's underrneath is where it should be.

I think the B parts were the steep climbs and deep ruts - the mud was pretty easy, but there were some sketchy off camber moments

Most of the mud pits would stop a stock, even near stock rig.

jase is correct in regards to the B sections. I'd say A if it was wet on one of the hills.

Jase, any chance of making an album in the trips section.

Can you also email some of the really good pics to me at jeepn@iinet.net.au. I will need them for the next issue of the wave.
