Been asked a few times why I refer to our XJ as "The Volvo".....Well have a look at the rear of a Volvo 740 Wagon might give a clue ;)

From April 2008:
Our daily hack for a few years now has been our ever faithful 1998 XJ.
We've done trips through the high country, around the beaches, Jamboree (2004) and just generally used & abused it.

To date asside from adding a set of 30x9.5" tyres and a towbar - it's been dead stock.

Quick update.
Sadly after sitting in my yard unregistered for about 3 years, and slowly being picked for various spares, I finally made the decision to switch off lifesupport and parted it out.
On the upside a large amount of the electricals and driveline will be going to help resurect a CJ8.
