Went to Zig Zag yesterday with a group from 4x4 earth. What a day of carinage. It started before we even got to the car park with one hilux loosing it front left wheel at 90kph. Also lost 3 CV's, 2 front diffs, 1 dana 35 left axle & a front tail shaft CV joint(yer no prizes for guessing who the last 2 were;D).
Droped the front tail shaft out & thanks to the locker I was able to drive on home onone wheel8). Went from full time 4wd to 1wd. lol. Lot of power from the jeep for 1 wheel ;D. Lots of fun.
Have new front tail shaft & hoping to have stronger axles installed Friday ready to go out again.
Nearly forgot up until the braekage the Jeep was kicking everybodies arses the only other that drove everything (including the steep my damage happened) was a very well set up Hilux on 35's with twin lockers.
