Hi Guyz
My jeep is engineered for 33's (I used to run 35's - pryer to engineering)
I'm geared for 35's - 4.56's petrol manual 6 spd.

I just recently heard some goss that all 33's are not the same size - in fact rumour has it that the Silverstone 33's are 34.8 - I like this kind of rumour!

My MTZ's have done an awesome job but I am getting a longing for 35's (all my mates have got em even some 37's) - Ive got tyre envy! lol

You might see my old 33's in the trading section anytime soon!

So heres my question? tyre guru's (bearing in mind a tyre that says its 33 is legal for my engineers cert - even if its 34.8 )
What is the biggest 33' tyre on the market that you would recommend I buy?

Thanx gurus for what I'm guessing will be some great advice!
cheers Hunty

Very Very few tyres measure oversize - and most of those are just a little oversize.
For example Swampers are commonly a llittle oversize - but a quick check through their site (http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?g=1) largest I spotted was 33.8

And another idea what about running Q78's - most people have no idea how tall they are (35.5") ....or 35"s in a metric size - again most people don't know how to convert in their head ;)

Simex are typically oversized as well, but not the best all purpose tyre.
