08 CRD
5" of suspension lift
1" body lift
Front and rear lockers
4.56 ratio
37" BAJA MTZ

Fitting a winch by early feb even though I haven't needed one yet but i'm getting more adventurous now and I know I'll need it sooner or later. Also want to throw billet axels in the front before I snap one.

NICE!!!... Is it engineered for the lift and tyres..? Only ask as Ive just ordered a 4.5" lift from the States and when it gets here really want to also go 37"

Could only engineer tyres up to 35 so I didnt bother. I have my originals springs and wheels. Got defected last Jan. Put standard springs in and standard wheels and passed. Left the lift kit in. Took a few hours which is a pain BUT if anyone knows an engineer who will pass 37 let me know coz I am keen on getting it engineered I just don't think it will pass

Who did you use to get the 35's and 6" lift engineered? We are looking at getting a mass engineering day done if we can. Maybe PM me the details rather than post publicly :)

Cheers

Ooops, rereading that I'm assuming it's not engineered for anything.

Cheers

No sorry I'll clear it up. Went to engineer as is and the guy said he can only do up to 35s and I think it was max 4.5 lift I at the time had just sold my 35s and gone 37s and added extra lift to clear 37s so I didn't bother getting it done. If I get defected ( its only happened once) it's for Tyres and wheels and I'm happy to pop my original springs in and bolt on my standard wheels and tyres. I wind my adjustable track bars back and it sits like a standard jeep with a 1 inch body lift.

Mine is engineered for 4" and 35's done down in Melbourne so the new lift should be fine but seems like 37's are good on another set of rims for off road and 35's on road...

Could be a problem? If something goes wrong. If you're involved in an accident for example - what would happen to insurance and what would the RTA say if a vehicle is not engineered?
I'd like to know

I only have third party.

And I drive like an Ls instructor ;)
