Hey guys since i mounted my MBRP roof rack ive been searching for a decent cage. Powerfull 4x4 have steel cages that fit my rack but at 50kgs it might be too heavy after i load it with all the gear. I noticed that ARB have an alloy range at around 26kgs. So im wondering if any one has had a steel or alloy cage, and what they thought of it, pro's and con's... Thanx

Also depends on size! I have just bought a Rola Vortex steel tube basket - the small one is 90cm x 110 cm and weighs 17kg. There is also a larger one, not sure of dimensions. There are a couple of vehicles in the club with these baskets, Adam has one - the one he had his spare and jerry cans in for the trip to Birdsville last year... The Vortex racks will also go well with the look of your black tube frame!

Rhino, Rola, Thule etc all have the variants on their websites, and Roof Rack City website is also good for info.
