Finally finished it off and used it to great effect this week (Easter) in Lightning Ridge, NSW. Worked a treat. Tent is set high on the frame which gives it the height necessary for the ladder to extend - and to give you room to get to stuff under the tarp. Added advantage is that you can see through the gap between the trailer and tent from your rear-view mirror. Tows and tracks like a dream. Towball weight is pefect, and the general trailer balance both on road (at 120kmh on those long, straight, empty and very bumpy roads out near the NSW/QLD border) and on fast dirt is wonderful. I'm yet to give it a go on serious bush tracks - which I'll do next weekend at Newnes for an experiment.

Also used our new Coleman "Hot Water on Demand" system in our new Sportiva dual-cubicle tent. Had the hot water system in the left cubicle and the dunny and shower head in the right. The Coleman water heater was about as good as the smaller (4lpm) Glind or Twine unit and was almost too hot at that flow rate. You had to keep the water jerry cool during the daytime to keep the shower temp at around 42 deg celcius.

Great camping in the dust for a week..... well..at least we were refreshingly clean every night and slept really well.

Very happy chappy:)
