I could possibly in for this also, trying to see if i can drag another car along with me and make a weekend out of it...
Head up friday night, wheel and explore sat, sink a few cans sat night, then help clean up on the sunday then head home.

Would be a good spot to go topless for the first time:D

Left at 5am and nearly got there. We made it to peats ridge and then the engine light, abs ESP, oil light, and then the transmission went haywire, Jumping gears..and the speedo jumping from 20 to 80km/hr...pulled over and check jeep. Chris drove past and stopped to give me a hand. Got the scan gauge and cleared the alarms, but seems problem remained. Not sure what's going on but drove home in 2nd gear and things settled down. Still have lights flashing but atleast the transmission has stabilized. It seems that the transmission over heated, or torque converter had a hissifit. will get it checked out tomorrow. Dam shame was looking forward to Stockton beach. Thanks to chris for stopping and helping a fellow jeeper.
Hopefully will be fixed for next weeks wheeny creek trip.
Any advice on what the symptoms mean pleases advice.
