Hate to point this out Steven! But all that "BLING" isn't stock!! LOL

We need to get you covered in some decent mud! That sould take care of the shine.

Looking like you've been bitten by the bug!

Cheers

Andy & Charl

p.s have you considered BLING as your profile name!:highly_amused:

Finishing off the lift this week and its all ready to get dirty and take the shine off

A lot of the bling will eventually come off

Make a suggestion: get a cheap set of rims so you don't get the pretty one's full of rock rash & then they will have a better resell value.

While I think about it those rims are 5 stud rim 5x4.5 they'll fit alot of different cars not just jeep early fords, toyota vans & so on.

Nice, but could be a bit blinding on a bright sunny day.......Lol.......
Have a new/unused set off Blackjack custom extreme rock sliders/sill protector's (matt black), with reinforced drop steps sitting around.. Something for the future??.........Lol........

Hi Steve, I would be interested in taking a look at those, How much do you want for them ?

yes it can be a little blinding on a sunny day but i have no fear of not being seen lol

hi Hunno, the wheels are a multi stud rims so will fit just about any car, rims and tyres are next

What's wrong with a bit of bling? It never hurt the Flatfender!

There is MUCH logic in this. Same with tube bar work - straight and shiny they are worth some money - but once you dent & scratch they are pretty much worthless.....and the problem is those tube bars are paper thin rubbish.
Hunno speaks wisdom.

is that really a 15.5 tire? are you sure its not 12.5?

Steven.Boyd
01-05-12, 09:17 AM
At the moment I have just put new 265/65/17 Kumho AT on there.

I brought it with the 17" on there and will eventually go back to 15'' rims with big tyres.

As i have only had the TJ for a month and used all the budget with a GME radio and 2.5'' lift the other mods have to wait till after the holiday

Mods on the list

New front & Rear bars
Winch
Diff Lockers
31 or 33'' tyres
SYE

but really need a holiday

reyzor
01-05-12, 01:08 PM
factor in a ratio change when you get your lockers installed....... works out cheaper in the long run....

if it was me id be doing the SYE first, then the bar work, tires/ lockers/ratios, then the winch........

enjoy doing it though.... its a slippery slope ;)

for once i agree with Rey. factor in ratios when the diffs are open for lockers, 4:56 would be good for 33 and still ok for 35 if you think you might get to that stage one day.

Steven.Boyd
01-05-12, 02:54 PM
Yes SYE and bar work is coming first

Then Lockers & Winch

Its a fun process doing it myself in my garage, Good learning curve

reyzor
01-05-12, 04:05 PM
you always agree with me vince...... dont even pretend...

with the lockers and ratios, if you arent proficient at it, id get someone to do it........ everythign else is pretty simple though

Sorry there 12.50 its a mistake haha i do have 33x15.50''s claws though but they are not going on that jeep due to the small axles

But how will anyone know it's yours now?? Does it still has the fake pipe?? Gotta keep that on for shits and giggles.

It is looking good though mate.

Steven.Boyd
25-10-12, 11:08 AM
It still has the bent chrome tail pipe but the fake one has been ripped off

Still has the Chrome rims, Mirrors, Windscreen hinges and the Skull fuel cap. So still easy to recognise
