Dunno yet but I DO plan to wrench on my junk too ;)
AllDay
Early AM

I am hoping we'll have room for 6 vehicles at a time in the Yard (being worked on concurrently).
Many Jobs are fairly short - So perhaps to be better organized, if you can give:
1. An Guesstimate of how long your task will be (if in doubt ask & we'll come up with a number)
2. A preference of Early AM, Late AM, Early PM or Late PM.

Mind you this is just a rough guide so we can get through as many Jobs as possible.
Also feel free to arrive & stay as long as you want to help others & maybe just even socialise.

Ohhh it would be nice to have a nice proper watts link in a Jeep. Been trying to figure out how to do it for a high flex 4x4.
Panhard & Cooler added to The List.

Not sure how long the spacer kit will take to install... ??? I only have bare basic equipment for it also (socket set, torque wrench, bag of goon) will be there early am though (as everything I do on the JK tends to turn out to be a multiple hour process - ie - the JKS disconnects lol - differing issues with that one...)

Will try and get along if I can. In the process of buying a new house so everything seems to be a mad panic at the moment but Sundays are usually OK.

Got a few bits and pieces to fit........steering dampener relocation, new side steps (just arrived today) & LED lamps to go on the back for reversing/camp light. Having said that, I might just watch everyone else curse and swear (sorry, I mean work on) their Jeeps instead and lend a hand where needed.

If I'm free, I might come up and give you guys a hand. Depends in my parts and where I'm at during that time. I seem to love tooling days lately.

Hi Wooders.... High steer on the currie system...do you have the sleeve, drill bit and the large spanner to flip currie. Also 1.5" wheel spacer.....
.its a shame you don't live closer to where you were raised..It would be easier for me... Lol. I'll call you later today.

Wooders, Is it too late to schedule my Spings? If the brackets are ready? If we can do them, I'd be happy to get there at 9am.

DanD

Massive thanks to all that helped getting the 2" spacers under my jk today!!

Greg D
18-08-13, 10:54 PM
Today's Tool Box day had 4 projects - Doggy Dave installed a transmission cooler, DanD installed a set of 2" spacers, and I replaced my front springs (plus a failed attempt to bend the end of my exhaust pipe), and Wooders replaced the Plugs and leads on his BMW.

We had varoius visitors, many of whom helped for some time - particularly John Clark who was there all day (and helped me enormously). Others who visited & helped were Flatfender, Wolfe, DK.

Wooders, we really appreciate you putting these on. I learned heaps, and got a greatly needed job done (now for the rear springs).

What a beaut wrenching day - not hot, not cold - just perfect.
Overall I think we were pretty leisurely (well I was ;)) but still productive.
The key thing for me was I also had some time to get my Torchmate running again....now to start using it again in vigor. :eagerness:

Bugger! Forgot all about this. Looking for a new house and trying to sell ours has fried my brain. It was a beautiful day for it as well.

Great to see a few others managed to get a few bits a pieces sorted rather than me hogging the driveway though.
