30/08/13 Mani and Bear are going to do a recce on the Baal Bone track to assess if it is still suitable for newbies prior to taking a club trip there on 15/09/13.

Any one with a day off wishing to accompany us please put your name on the list below.

usual requirements will apply eg.radio recovery gear etc. We are meeting at Maccas Richmond at 0800. Meeting place could change depending on who is coming on the recce.

Mani and Bear did a recce today 30/08/13.

The track has dried out considerably since I was there last. We would rate the track C/C+ due to some rutting in areas that used to be 12inch deep mud that is now dry.

We concluded that the club trip to be run on 15/09/13 to this area is suitable and doable for newbies and un modified Jeeps. Unless we have rain of Biblical proportions.
