It's that time of year again. Registration starts at 0900 and the clean up goes until about 1 pm.
Beach access is free on the day and as always, sausage sizzle and giveaways after.

BYO sunscreen, hat and gloves...

Meet at the Twin Servos at 7:30 for 8 AM departure on into Lavis Lane.

This trip there's no limit...the more, the better...

Yep, checked the PO Box finally and got the following information;

The Department of Environment and Heritage is holding the 2013 Stockton Beach Cleanup Day - Sunday 27 October, 9.00am to 1.00pm. If anyone is interested you have to register on the day, from 9.00am at the Worimi Conservation Lands 4WD Beach Access at Lavis Lane, or at Birubi Beach. No mention of any costs, but there will be a sausage sizzle and prizes.

We may be up for it but have to see if a get the jk fri or sat the Kj would cook its self in the sand ( why we re trading it)

I was going to have a drive up from Sydney in the morning, but the wife is unwell, so looks like that plan is out of the window for this weekend :(
I also checked on the RFS site, there is still a pretty large bush fire in the Hank Street area, pretty close to Stockton beach, the roads were closed during the week but i'm guessing they are open now as it looks to have been downgraded?

hi guys
me and couple of friends drove up on saturday we camped in a forest not far from stockton. in the morning we headed to lavis ln to sign in. we collected rubbish till 12:30 than went back to sign in area for bbq. after that we want back for a bit more of a drive.
weather was beautiful, sunny but not to hot. all up around 270 people turned up. it was a great day and i'm going back next year again.
and no i didn't roll my jeep this year.
