I have a 97 TJ and i am getting a vibration though the steering wheel

It seams to happen when driving around town under acceleration. when i am just costing it doesn't seam to be that bad.

It goes away when travelling on the freeway once you get to about 90km/h

It is not the death wobbles it is only a very annoying vibration.

any information or help would be appreciated

My sugestion - when it's only at certain speeds - Could be front prop shaft has lost a balance (or has been hit) or even tyres, Change tyres front to back first. Also check all suspension for movement beyond acceptable

Check your tranny mount for splits.

You were really clean at the show...:pride:......... May have pressure hosed a weight from your wheel/s off as I did once before....Had a noticeable residue mark remaining on the inside of the rim( The weights on the outer side were intact so I did not pick that up, the inner one's missing that is), so it turned out to be an easy re-balance on one wheel at the time and re-balanced as a courtesy free............
