What have you done to your jeep so far, this will depend on what else could be done.

Ever heard the song by the Barenaked Ladies called if I had a million dollars?
I bought myself a monkey, haven't you always wanted a monkey?

If I was to go with lockers, could only afford one for now, which do you suggest front or rear?

I have a rear in mine, but that's because the rear diff is stronger (D44 rear and D30 front in my XJ) also because I went auto locker and it has no impact on steering etc. Others will tell you a front locker works better offroad but I gotta say with the 35's and a rear locker it takes a fair bit to stop the XJ these days and most dont realize it's only locked in the rear.

Most of the times you need the lockers when u r climbing. While climbing weight shifts onto the rear axle that's where u need a locker. Also front diff in the JK is very weak and I wouldn't put extra stress on it without strengthening it. I am also in the same boat as you at the moment and am going to get a Detroit Truetrack for my rear diff.........

The little Jeep has a full Detroit in the rear and a Spartan in the front. Big Jeep has an Aussie Locker in the rear and a cable shifted OX in the front. Can't recommend the OX, not because it's a bad unit, but there's one guy in the whole country who can make one work correctly and he ain't anywhere near here.

I was thinking I might go the rear locker, and I was thinking Eaton E locker, now putting the locker in does that void my new car warranty ?? I know some dealers look for every chance to get out of fixing shit .........any advice ?

Save your money and stay with what you have until you get more confident on the trails so that you don't hit the lockers as often? (just saying)

I thort the same thing, but putting disconnects on has given more confidence, so I thort lockers can only make things better. ???

It does give you more confidence. The trick is not using it.

My Waggie has an OX in the rear AMC 20, had it set up by DIFFTRANS in Windsor - and I highly recommend it. This was the first one they did and they had no issues and it works a treat. So I don't think they are that hard to setup just make sure you get a shop who knows their stuff.
