We are needing to get a new navigation system looking at either a vms system or and hema hn7 what does everybody use or recommend . Also selling a go pro hero 3 with wifi remote and brackets used once I don't like it .

Looking at getting $380 Ono.
Spent $460 on it including suction cup and only used it a couple of times.

What about Hema or Mudmap apps for the iPhone/iPad/android etc, the reviews look good, and much cheaper?

Do these work when the phone has no service or satellite etc

The maps are offline, loaded into the device, the GPS uses satellites only, and doesn't need boosters/transmitters like the mobile networks? you can buy a kit to make an iPhone a sat phone, they use satalites like GPS, and work almost anywhere, as long as your in the open...
