Hi all,

I was looking at a set of tube doors that a now defunct American company used to fabricate, and apart from the top front rail which needs a rethink methinks, I really like them. I like them a lot better than the other tube doors out on the market.

The question is, has anyone looked at having tube doors fabricated? what did you find out. Who would you approach for this kind of job?

Hi Nixolus, do you have a photos of them? I have a pipe bender and a normal welder if you wish to make them yourself. For heavier welding we'll consult Dandy at C/twn. A panelbeater friend and I are looking at making rock sliders similar to white knuckle, but with fold away steps.

Cheers Rob S

Hi Rob,

I see the picture I attached didn't work. but the link is to the US forum where I saw the doors in blazing white glory. There are several pictures which clearly show the design.
I am definitely not up to making these myself, and I was considering a professional fabricator, so that they are rock solid, fit properly and don't rattle any more than absolutely necessary

Those White knuckle sliders look really nice.
