Dash light ? Help

I have a dash light of a key in s circle with a line across it ? On my 98 Jeep Wrangler it's making my truck work weird
can any help solve the problem or where I can take it ??

That light is usually an indication that your car is immobilised due to a faulty key or computer. I'm suprised that the car is still running. Might be something else like a dodgy earth or faulty alternator.

Hi thanks I will check that out ! I think it's the key I checked with jeep and it cost $1000 for a new barrels and key !
Not sure what to do I will check the wiring on the alt

Try Sydney Security Locksmiths out 02 9734 7155 or 0414 466 228. They are excellent mobile locksmiths that would be able to sort you out with new programmed keys for you at a fraction of that price. Ring them up and have a chat and usually quote you over the phone. Daniel at Ultimate Locksmiths are also pretty good. Their number is 0400 060 001.
