Weekend camping at Rydal. We will do a variety of tracks over the weekend.
Where -- Rydal Showgrounds
When -- Friday 12th June - Sunday 14th June
Meet -- At Rydal Showgrounds (we will be arriving late Friday night as we have Subie club meeting on first)
Grade -- all
Requirements -- recovery points Front/Rear, recovery gear, radio, food/drink of choice, camera, camping gear
Cost - $10 a car per night
This run is limited to -- no limit

Better put me down as tentative. Found out this morning that I might be coaching under 8's Rugby on weekends now :( It will be matter of if we have a bye, or if I can get someone else to coach on the day.

I may run my intended trip for Jambo that weekend also, map it and time it out roughly, and see what grade it is now.
Heidi, apologies but we are pre committed and can't make this one. Definitely intending to get to everything we can though. Have a big one.

I'm in negotiations at the moment, to have it played at some of the Jeep Dealerships, to promote Jambo plus it will be going Viral, so your Jeep will be famous [emoji106]

I might be up for a Lost City run as well, it's easy enough to find and my last trip out there was Jambo 2012 :) Also keen on the 9 Steps that Greg mentioned at the club meeting.

It's a deal then. Teshie will most likely join too. We can do the lost city and then explore 9 steps. I'll be aiming to get to Rydal at 9 am on Saturday, driving via Richmond.

If anyone isn't keen on doing the run from Richmond up Bells, I'll be grabbing brekky at Blaxland Maccas at some God forsaken hour of the morning (before 9am lol) if anyone wants to meet up there and travel up in convoy to listen out for the UHF & the stereo belting out tunes at the same time haha

I won't be heading out until about 10:00am, I'm planning to unload the Jeep and setup camp before I hit the trails. I don't think anyone will be going much earlier than that :)

Gday mate, thinking of heading out from Blaxland Maccas at about 7:30am to be @ Rydal by 9am
Ok mate. I want to get out on the tracks, I'm not staying Saturday night but I want to get my tyres dirty
Not sure about the showers might see if we can get them open on the Saturday afternoon. I was thinking of ducking down to the lake and having a shower at the caravan park there! Not going to be to cold by the look of it :)
Ok so the showers will be opened tonight as well!

Just a few from the day. Have a look at the recovery - the rear wheel on the right hand side tells the story how steep the hill was.

I had a great day on Saturday. Wish I could of stayed for the whole weekend :-)
Thanks for the photo's Easy77. I didn't see the recovery as it was too hard to walk down the hill lol

Thanks Heidi and Brian for arranging a great weekend. We had an awsome time wheeling, a few hairy moments and some great confidence boosting. Thanks to Steve and Brian for the great rescue on Saturday on Fire truck Hill. Big thanks to Danny, Steve and Hayley for great spotting and getting us up that hill climb today. now called "Track not many people use". Haha.Great to see and catch up with everyone. see you all soon around a fire.

Thanks for an another interesting weekend and for pulling us out of a near May Day situation, for a few minute we thought the TJ was gonna roll but luckily it got stuck in between trees and next got plucked out by some calm heads who led it's recovery. Thanks all. Couple of challenging steep climbs, wonderful river crossing and experience of the recovery made this a memorable and an enjoyable weekend. Thanks all.
