Mate, Jambo is definitely a major opportunity for you. It only comes every two or three years and probably won't be back in our part of the world for a while.

BUT, attendance on a couple of trips before joining is pretty normal. Keep an eye on the trips section. The SJC is however likely to be focussed on final preparations for Jambo until after October.
