Trip organised with Caradvice to test out the Renegade TrailHawk

Where -- Mt Bonfire, Hampton State Forest, off Jenolan Caves Rd, Hampton.

When -- Saturday August 27th, 2016

Meet -- At McDonalds, Richmond 7:15am for 7:30am departure,
or Shell Service Station, corner Great Western Highway & Magpie Hollow Rd, South Bowenfelds, at 8:45am for a 9am departure.

Grade C++. This will require Low Range, but modifications are not required. I will be leading in my Grand Cherokee. Good for an introduction to off-road, and a family outing.

Requirements -- recovery points Front & Rear, recovery gear, radio, (If new members want to discuss what they have vs what is required, give me a call. I will have 2 spare handheld UHFs), food/drink of choice, camera.

UHF Channel for SJC is 15

This run is not limited for the number of vehicles.

When registering, advise where you will meet.

I am also adding a Visitor, Leigh Baker. Leigh is a member of the Jeep Club of NSW, and was responsible for getting that club accreditation as an Historic Club, and will be driving a Full Size Jeep.

Thanks for a great day Greg and Steve, and awesome to hang and laugh with the crew. Man we had a good time today, clearing trees, building roads, nice driving, putting up with gobstopper, marvelling at Dusan's flex.

Was a great day , Thankyou all for fun day , and great laughs and how amazing the renegade went , now to convince the Mrs to buy one lol , yet today I think it was Sydney jeep club cross fit Hahahah who needs chain saws .!! Amazing team work from everyone, such a great club and amazing members .! :-)

Great day indeed. Everyone that came on the trip did a great job of showing the CarAdvice guys what we are about as a club :) Keep an eye out for the video review, should be up in a couple of weeks.

After all that cutting I ordered a new blade for my Silky Bigboy (snapped one getting a bit too enthusiastic) and I couldn't help myself and also ordered a Silky 240mm Nata. It was all I could do NOT to order a Silky Katana 650. Google that last one for the best handsaw to replace a chain saw with ;)
