Where: Yalwal - Treeroot Loop.

Will drive directly to Wombat Flats Rockgarden to do some warmup climbs then cross the creek and do the Small loop track to Treeroot. Pending on weather and truck capabilities we will either go up Treeroot or Down the Bridle steps.

When: Saturday 18th February 2017

Meet: Albion Park Maccas @ 730 am

Time: 7:30 am for 8:00 departure. Please be fueled and fed.

Grade: B/C

Some risk of damage - slight (nothing guaranteed though). Overgrown tracks - probably not a trip for polished "mall crawlers".

Requirements: Radio, food/drink of choice, camera. Full fuel tank. (we can fuel up at Nowra) .Recovery points front and rear. Recovery kit: snatch strap, rated shackles, dampener.

Recommended Protection, lift, side rails, larger All Terrain or Mud tyres.
This run is limited to: 10 - including lead vehicle.

I'm pretty keen for this run , treeroot is a great track with an amazing view, I'm just hoping I have my TJ running by this date. Not too worried as I will take the WK2 down to the rock garden and then jump in with someone else for the harder stuff. Today we did the rockgarden and also telegraph corner, and it's just rewarding to see people's expression when they achieve what they thought was impossible possible in Jeep.
Im Counting down the weeks ��

Hey,

Please remove me from the reserves list. The TJ has developed a high frequency vibration around 60km/h in the steering wheel, so it's parked until I can figure out what is going on. With this heat, it may be a while.

Hey mate..... a high frequency vibration could be your front driveshaft is stuffed or atleast the double cardon . Check it by removing it and going for a drive

Jose, buddy. 1,000 apologies but we need to keep off the tracks until a little repair work is resolved. Bump stops detached and racking inside the coils is noisy, but bigger problem in failed front axle seals. Smarter move to wait till they are repaired.

it's a pity, just like Roop, we were really looking forward to it.

Hi Jose, sorry mate have to pull out of tomorrow. I snapped the holding eyelet of my rear left shocky today and a replacement never arrived at the mechanic. I'll look at what trips are coming up and do an overall check for any other possible parts failure.

Roof might be a problem... Hahaha that's one of the best comments I've seen in a while. Glad it wouldn't stop you. At least the forecast has improved heaps this morning. There's now only a 40% chance of up to 5mm.
