Awesome.
I'm really keen to see what my JKU can do.
Will post up a trip if we can get a couple more at least.
I was thinking of meeting up at Thornleigh McDonalds then head up to Ourimbah rest stop for any stragglers.
Air down and straight into Ourimbah.
Thoughts?

I normally go in at Palmdale, but whatever suits :) I'd meet you up there as I'm just past Hornsby anyway. Post up a trip and you'll get some takers.

You can't get in at Palmdale any more Tim Tam , big arse pile of rocks blocking the road.
You have to come in via Tree tops at Yarramalong.

Hi,

I am not familiar with the area, can you please post the meeting address and the link to google map? Is there any service station or community center that we can meet a so it’s more recognizable?

Thank you
Roya

I won't be able to make it now, next time. Map what you can though as it's my local so keen to see what is still open (or not)

This is my 7th-8th trip in my stock JL Sport and I am finally confident tackling obstacles I previously thought way too difficult! Fabulous!

Thank you to everyone that attended. Fun day by all. I really enjoyed this trip and hope to see you all on many others.

We know that Palmdale Rd was blocked off but we can enter from the northern end at Tee Tree.
We stayed away from Tee Tree area as there were many cyclists in the area.
We explored a couple of tracks towards the north but found they were mostly dead ends.

Boyds Point Rd would be a track for modified jeepers with some winching involved.

There is a new gate installed on Middle Ridge Rd and Red Hill Rd but appears to be open during the day.

We were able to travel down past the gate and towards Palmdale Rd.
We found the old tracks are still open but have been degraded including the chicken tracks.

I also apologize, I didnt take that many photos.

That’s great news... get a set of disconnects for your front swaybar and your JL will be even more capable .. well done Joe[emoji106]
