Hi Jenko, I have a set of GPS co-ordinated routes and associated maps for down there.About 5 days worth of travel in and around the area.Even have a couple of detours if certain tracks are closed. Will bring them along to the next to the next meeting for ya to have a look at.

Here's a couple of pics from when we were down there in 06

Hey Jenko,

Let me know when and I could be interested! Should be down Tumut way about 10th January 08 so could easily go on! How long are you planning the trip?

If you weren't thinking January, then I'm not free again until April (School Hols you know).

Catch you later, hope you have seen my posts in Tecnicalities, having continued trouble with the KJ!

Dave

Jenko, Do you remember a couple of years ago, ARB ran a fundraiser for wheelchairs - can't remember the organisation.

Well I was looking through Overlander Magazine yesterday, and they are running another Tag Along for this organisation to the Vic Highlands in April next Year. Entry is $1000 donation. I believe they try to get 70 or so vehicles and run groups of 10 on different 'loops' each day for a week.

I don't have any more details here (at work) but I have the mag at home, so can find dates etc. Interested?

Dave.

Jenko,

The ARB sponsored trip can be found at www.drive4life.com.au

It is on 20 -25 April which IS during School Holidays, so it is doable for me.

Whadayareckon?

I can highly reccomend the D4L trips.Mick and myself were trip leaders on their first one 2 years ago( last years was cancelled due to fires). I had a gret time and from what I hear so did everyone else.Donation is tax deductabile(we raised $75 000 on the last one) and goes to a fantastic cause,Northcott do wheel chairs for kids among other things. It's also great to know you have back up if needed.I think Mick W had to make an emergency dash into Melbourne to pick up a front diff for one unlucky punter but he ended up only missing one day from the entire trip.
