Chris and myself are running a Lake Lyel trip on Sunday the 2nd of December. It's always a great trip with some interesting terrain and water crossings etc.

If you want to come along or want to know more let us know.

Trip typically starts at 9:30 at Bowenfells (just past Lithgow) and finishes at about 3:30 at Lithgow for a coffee and chat before the trip home.

It should be a good one and is a trip not to be missed :)

Cheers
Steve

Did I pick the easiest line or what ;) Those holes must be bigger than they look on the pic.

the easiest route was up the last hand side, then the second easiest was the line you took (i took it too) the middle was a no go zone with no lift and small tyres!!!!

pictures never do it justice!

is someone able to give me directions from the servo to the tracks you took? unfortunately i couldnt make it when the club went out there. the jeep is booked in to get fixed in early jan and im keen to head up there soon after! those pics look like fun! or is there another club trip organised for that area again soon?

Details/Directions for the Lake Lyell trip are in the Club Members section under favourite destinations :) It also has waypoints if you have a GPS etc. It's not really one track though so it's a bit awkward to follow.

I was going to run another trip over the break but the XJ is off the road at the moment while I wait for a driveshaft part.
