Birdsville Bakery has been sold for $1.2 mil

The latest issue of the "Grey Nomad Times" has a story about the recent sale of the Birdsville Bakery for $1.2mil. That's a lot of camel pies! This is the second sale of the bakery that i am aware of. When we made the first Desert Trip it had changed hands just before then. The new owner is promising the menu will not change.

That sounds like a lot for a bakery. They will need to sell a lot of bread to recoup that investment.
