Daphne and I are Christmas orphans so we are hitting the road again. This time we are heading to Victoria High Country via Bendethera Valley.
Here's a rough outline of the itinerary
24/12-26/12 Bendethera Valley (Hiking, 4wd, chill out)
27/12 - Bendethera Valley to Berridale (via Tuross Falls/Cascades)
28/12 - Berridale to Native Dog Flat (via Snowy River, swimming)
29/12 - Native Dog Flat to Dargo (via Omeo)
30/12 - Dargo to Dargo ( Blue Rag Range, Basalt North/South Track)
31/12 - Dargo to Dargo (Tabotville, Billy Goat Bluff)
01/01 - Dargo to Wonnangatta Station (Eaglevale, Herne Spur)
02/01 - Wonnangatta Station to King Billy Track (Zeka Spur Track, Howitt Road)
03/01 - King Billy Track to Howqua Gap Hut (Bluff Track)
04/01 - Howqua Gap Hut to Wodonga (via Craigs Hut, Tomahawk, Mt No 3, Mansfield)
05/01 - Home
Longest distance between fuel stops is approximately 250km. This is on steep terrain, often requiring 4WD LOW. Fuel Consumption may be double what you would normally use.
We are planning to bring extra 3 Jerry cans for our JK 2 door.
