***July Club Meeting Change***

We have some bad news for the July Club meeting.

The Markets Club has closed its doors permanently. They have no separate smoking area and with the new Irish pub opening within 50m of the Markets Club with a separate smoking area they can no longer afford to keep their doors open. This was a snap decision by the club and their last day of business is today, Saturday 30th June.

On the up side we already have a new meeting place for the July Club meeting Regents Park Bowling Club/Sporting and Community Club the address is at the end of Terrene St Regents Park and is not far from the markets club. This club is larger, has a bigger bistro and for the smokers has an outside area for smoking and a car park for 200 vehicles. We have been offered the same deal so there is no cost to the club other than the requirement for SJC members to join the club at a tiny cost of $3 a year.

Due to the short notice the committee haven?t had a chance to visit the club and check it out so the final decision on if this is to be the new meeting place won?t be made until after the July meeting. It would be great if as many people as possible could come along this Wednesday the 4th of July and help us evaluate the place.

You may have also noticed the club website has been down, we reached our 3GB bandwidth limit for the month of June. This limit will be reviewed by the committee and possibly increased if the pricing is not too big a deal.
