Just reporting back after the Classic Not Plastic, was an enjoyable albeit wet weekend with plenty of mud to explore in the Watagans.
Unlike Camp Coffs I managed to not get the Cherokee stuck in the...
Hi Guys,
Just checking if anyone is attending Classic Not Plastic over June long weekend up in Morisset.
Taking the Canyonero up with the hope that fuel prices come down a bit :hopelessness:
...
Please add me to the EOI list :encouragement:
I use an OBDlink MX for my 2013 JKU combined with the Torque app for Android.
It's one of the more costly OBD tools out there but is very responsive and supports Ford/GM vehicles :smile-new:
Hey mate, when were you thinking of heading up?
I'm over in Bangor, not too far from Gymea if you wanted to do a Shire based convoy :eagerness:
G'day Rich, looks like this trip is rapidly growing in popularity!
Please add me to the list in a JKU.
Thanks mate, I must say it's a very comfy cruiser like a lounge room on wheels.
I'm trying to stick with the if it isn't broken, don't fix it mantra but you never know it could get a 2in lift and 31in tyres one day!
Front recovery points would be ideal, although would require...
After deciding that owning a modern JK Wrangler wasn't sufficiently emptying my pockets I have taken the plunge on a 2-owner 1985 SJ Cherokee with 360ci V8 and 3sp Torqueflite approx. 120,000kms on...
I'm keen to take the '85 Cherokee up, just working on recruiting a wing man to help fund it's unquenchable thirst for gasoline :greedy_dollars:
Will probably head up on the Thursday too.
Double Black Offroad sell ARB branded disconnects which I'm quite happy with.
I had Teraflex prior to that but the stock tyres/wheels rubbed on them when disconnected and a grease fitting snapped...
So after leaving the Jeep with the guys at Suttons Rosebery it has come back with shiny new front axles and isn't making that annoying tailgate clunk sound anymore.
Hard to tell if there was...
The Jeep is back from it's clock spring recall and so far so good :smile-new:
Going back next week for a front-passenger side axle seal leak before the warranty expires.
Hopefully I don't have...
+1 for Bestop soft top cleaning product, also purchased through soft tops online who sponsored Jambo so 100% get around them :)
Soft top - not sure but you can check eBay. People with an older model JK might want to upgrade to yours with tinted windows, etc.
Radio if the standard one without GPS, multimedia, etc. not worth...
Thanks for the responses guys, might get in touch with Suttons at Rosebery as they're not too far from work.
Tynans in the Shire is my closest but haven't heard the greatest stories of their service...
Hi Everyone!
Just checking if anyone else with this model JK has received a letter for "Safety Recall Campaign S40" and if so gotten the replacement clock spring.
If anyone has had good...
Nice looking adjustable panhards Steve :smile-new:
Curious which brand you went with as I've been tossing up whether to go Teraflex or JKS myself.
What were your thoughts on panhards with heim...
Was a fun trip through Chichester SF and great to be on the trails with some great vintage Jeeps.
What time were you guys planning to head up there?
I'm coming from a client in the Hunter Valley so should hit the camp site Friday evening :)
I'm planning to head up there along with my girlfriend, plus my mate and his lady (in their Subaru Outback which we will park somewhere out of view).
Should be an enjoyable weekend, my first in...
Bro I thought it was a pretty good movie, they're setting up for the Justice League of America which will be bad ass :)
Also noticed all the vehicles in the movie were FiatChrysler, good on Sergio...
+1 Brett is a top bloke, shipped some Rubicon rock rails from XJeepers up here to Sydney for me for a great price!
