Sadly enough it was not I that did the filming. Not sure what he used. However I do believe that some of the newer video camera actually have an anti vibration or shake ability. I'll see what I can find out about the camera.

The Guy in the Red TJ doing the " 3 point turn" is Justin. Winner of this years "Team Trophy Challenge". We have a competition each year called the "Team Trophy Challenge" It consists of teams of 2 rigs with Driver and Co-pilot in each rig. The competition is a series of trails over the span of 3 days. During the "runs" each team is require to stop at check points that require you to accomplish a specific task... such as change the front drivers and the rear passenger tires at the same time without using a jack. It's hard core wheeling to say the least..

In regard to the camera... here's is the shooters response.

The dash cam shots are from a JVC HD camera, good camera although I don't like the .TOD format that the videos are saved in. Requires more converting.

As for how it's mounted, just a standard tripod, 1 leg on the floor, 2 on the seat, with a ton of bungie cords holding it in place and to keep it from being seen in the window glare, one of my black pillow cases with a hole cut in it

nothing fancy, just something that works.
