Default Adjusting the handbrake JK Wrangler

    This an old chestnut.

I downloaded information on this task from a couple of websites, but what they didn't say was it is necessary to remove the rear calipers to gain access to the adjusting port, which is hidden behind the caliper.

After that it is pretty staightforward to follow the instructions.

Now pull the lever up four clicks and the car is not going anywhere

Default Adjusting the handbrake JK Wrangler

Hey - how opportune - as my hand brake in the KJ is so bad, that I have to do it two or three times before it engages... is this common, or is my Jeep only?

Would it have to do with the fact that my brakes need replacing? They are down to the last millimeter.
