Thought i would drop in some images of the old white TJ and as most will know i now own Mark Lambs old Black TJ.

    here is the old girl....http://www.sydneyjeepclub.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=2277& g2_serialNumber=2&g2_GALLERYSID=fea466c98378cb52ac 56bc4abeb53e0c[/img]

That was the day I sold her to Brad (Dorzon)

And the new not quite as clean as you would all be used to seeing it....

    Maybe...

thing is the dirt is hiding some of the new bush pin stripes it got on Sunday....

hop up of the floor Mark, I know a good Spray Painter, if i change it to Olive Drab would that be better.....and its getting used for what you built it for, embrassing patrol owners who think that they know better!!!

BTW the Vinyl stripes might not be a good idea for the show car, even after removing them and prepsol and a polish there are reverse stripes ( ie its like the white from the vinyl has leached into the black paint) mainly on the bonnet i like the look but maybe not for the show car..

So time for a bit of an update.....

After buying it off Mark and getting it dirty a few times (And then washing it MArk :-) it was time to make some changes

Old set up was, 2inch Old man emu springs with 2inch packers, rubicon lower arms and stock uppers. This setup worked well but was getting old and was time for a refresh.... So in went a long arm, with a trianglated rear, new springs

The install pictures are on here somewhere, took 2 weekends and was one of the best things i have done to a TJ on road ride is so stable i can run the antirock on the softest setting on the road no problems.

Did a couple of rounds of 4x4 Masters and bent some tierods, and the lower control arm mount on the passenger side. I have done this before so was no biggie to fix but when getting wheel alignments we could never get rid of the V8Supercar camber in the front right wheel.

SO after researching i am in the process of trussing a HP dana 30 from an XJ, lucky for me the one i found had warn hubs and a ARB already on/in it.

The locker is a newer than my existing oneso i will useit, also means i can get the whole diff built out of the Jeep and then swap it in.

I will be running 4.88 ratios and 37s at the end :-)

To help stop everything i recently did a ZJ/ZG rear disc conversion i have to say this has been the easiest and most benefical mod so far. The Jeep stops on a dime and i have a handbrake that is still working......
