Upper Colo Camping Trip

I'll be up at Upper Colo the weekend of the 18-20th of March with some friends, attending the Campertrailer Group meet at the Upper Colo Reserve right on the river. Having attended this last year I know there are a fair number of tracks in that area. Phil Reid showed me some tracks under the powerlines that the Wollongong Hilux guys use. Of course Wheeny Creek is in that area as well. The Upper Colo Reserve is a big place open to the public but anyone wanting to camp there would need to book with Hawkesbury Council in advance. There are showers and toilets at the reserve but you need to be self sufficient in water and food, etc.

I am not calling this an SJC Trip, because I am there as a Campertrailer Group member, but informally if other SJC people want to come along there is heaps of room there (but Hawkesbury Council cut off the numbers when it starts to get crowded).

This Camping Trip is being moved to another weekend due to the large crowds booked in for the Campertrailer Group that weekend. New dates will be announced soon.

The new dates for the Upper Colo Camping trip are the weekend of 1,2,&3 of April.
