Put me down please.
There is the well known loop track which runs from the camp site at the bottom of Mintbush -drops down the rock steps, crosses the creek bed and then winds its way up to 2 parallel steep tracks, the left is sandy, the right is rutted. This is generally known as "TreeRoot". The track then winds back on itself down some good flexy ruts to a hill climb with a comp spec rock step which most people will bypass on the left. There is a little pinch at the start of this which i always struggle on (wheelbase thing). This track is generally known as "Dusty's". Maybe the big step is the Landy Drop?
The track finishes up reclimbing the rocksteps back out of the creek bed. Full Loop is a Solid B grade.
I would personally rate the right hand rutted track on Treeroot as B+ as it feels fairly committing once you start it.
From memory, looking at the pics from the trip that CraigB ran last year, they did the "TreeRoot" section of the loop.

Thanks DK. Glad someone knows the area. Yesterday got down through the creek and then back up however it scared the little one heaps so didn't go any further. Wish there were more local jeeps my way!!!! Great response so far. It could be good for camping aswell if we start on the Saturday!!! Coolendale.
