Isn't a super charger the same as gluing your load pedal to the floor? ? ? hahao

Didn't I see your truck at Jeep Artarmon a few weeks ago?

Has anyone considered the need to beef up the bottom end of the motor (big ends and main bearings) to cope with the extra stress loadings imposed on these components by a supercharger.

I'd second that Reg, as most normally aspirated engines do not have the component strength to handle forced induction. Con rods and wrist pins are the ones I have heard of breaking most often. I seem to recall Ruthy actually did a video piece about that when he had his engine rebuilt in Melbourne.

i dont think the RIP supercharger run that much boost to be honest.... but ideally you'd want an engine that could handle it.... at low boost though i think the JK motor should be able to handle it.......time will tell
