    Default Bowtells Swing Bridge (Jenolan State Forest) 06/08/2011

    This is a mapping/Reccie trip, it's hoped those that attend will go back and run other trips exploring some more and help map out the area in preperation for Jambo



    Where --
    Bowtells Swing Bridge

    When -- Saturday 06/08/2011

    Meet -- First servo up the hill from Penrith

    Time -- 7:45 for 8:00/8:15 departure

    Grade -- Unknown, expecting C/B

    Requirements -- recovery points Front/Rear, recovery gear, radio, food/drink of choice, camera, GPS mapping equipment if you have it.

    This run is limited to -- 10

    Steve, would like to attend but off overseas this week , there has to be some good options in the jenolan state forest, I saw some nice clips on utube recently but couldnt work out track wherewabouts , will explore after Cape York and get some guys together ,weekend camping over there etc ,cheers Kev

    We did the six foot track a month or so back trip is fairly easy all but river crossing pass the bridge area as we where one out and no winch looked a little high for our kj

    We won't know if we can make it until Friday afternoon - we're rostered on for doggie rescue this weekend, but if there are no doggies to be transported we'll be there
    We still only have the A/T's on tho.... we've ordered the new muddies but they haven't come in yet
