Thanks for the offer, TRBN8R. It was, indeed, but I've already used it as the excuse for a set of Blackjack Welding's Sidestep Extremes.

(On closer inspection, I think I'm going to have to replace/upgrade the trans case crossmember as well. It's also looking somewhat worse for wear now. And then there's the fuel tank bash plate... )

edit: On the plus side, the Donaldson Topspin prefilter on the snorkel did a good job & the air filter wasn't too bad when I checked it the other day. Not too discoloured & not much came out when 'tapped' on the flare, unlike another trip where I had the ram head on and it turned into a dust plate & needed replacing.)
