After yesterday's great sun I can now walk on most of my lawn, so if it keeps up there could be a good chance of some dry tracks.

I might get chance tomorrow to go across the freeway and have a look. Hasn't rained (properly) since the weekend now. Had a 5 minute light rain Wednesday morning. As long as it doesn't piss down again you will be fine. It has been 28 degrees in Tuggerah and Woongarrah for the last 3 days.

Rey don't know why you need the rain to wash your car.. it never gets dirty anyway.

Thanks for organising and leading another enjoyable trip Steve C.
5 vehicles just worked nicely - no long queues or hold ups. The track we went down got harder and harder and we were seriously hoping that we would be able to exit at the bottom end as a return trip back to the top promised to be a bit of a struggle. As it turned out the track was completely blocked with fallen bushes right near the bottom, so we had no option but to retrace our steps and head back to the top. The funny thing was - it actually felt easier going back up than it did going down. The Flatfender was in its element today and never put a foot wrong, a bit of hand throttle and 2nd low gear and it got up everything with ease and no need for lockers. Now to tackle all the dust everywhere!
    Cheers

Thanks Steve for organizing today's trip.

Going to get the air compressor out to get all the dust out of the jeep

Great track it's a shame we couldn't complete that last few km due to the fallen tree

Will get some images up soon

This was my first trip with the club, i enjoyed the company, advise, scenery and challenges.

The tracks gave my adrenaline glands a work out and now i cant wait for the next trip (not before i get rid of the dust from inside the cabin)

A special thanks to Steve, Steve, Dave and Ian for making me feel welcome from the time i walking into McDonald's Thornleigh.
