is it a requirement to have a radio and a compressor for this trip? what sort if radio do I need? will a handheld one do?
Radio is a real must have, handhelds are fine as you will typically be in a convoy all within a few hundred metres of each other. You dont have to have a compressor as you can air up again at Lavis lane afterwards.Originally Posted by vstanman

I have an extra hand held radio which is adequate, will be at Lavis Lane Maccas from 9.30am though and will be monitoring CH15. See you guys then

Hanging around a servo in Anna Bay - cause it looked like that there was f**k all else to do in that place apart from going to the nudist beach......
Try to play spot the nudist :P After this shot was taken, we all went on a drive.... where... there was a sword fighter at Samurai Beach (and his missus)... "What has been seen cannot be unseen" Re Phil McCracken & his mate in the dunes - glad I didn't get a glimpse of that though haha And I swear that the damn moon cycles was stopping me from driving up some of those rocks after the other trucks had finished
A nice shot, before which, the NPWS staff had told us in no uncertain terms to f**k off as the tide was rising... Fair enough.
