Would this attract people from all over? Would this take away the option of organising Jambos - or possibly the desire for Jeepers Australia wide to come to a club organised event? Dunno!
If they organise Tag Along type tours, I'd be all for it, but I'd like to know costs! For example, a well known Tag Along Operator from NSW is charging $3700 per vehicle Cairns to Cairns for a tour of Cape York. Is that a reasonable cost before food, fuel, vehicle prep? For some, yes! I have paid for tours before. If they could undercut this... As Glen said a commercial operator has huge overheads on commercial access and insurance. For many, to double the cost of a 'free' club tour to a similar destination might be a little steep.
Need more info!
