    Default My White Rubi....

    Hi All

I am new to the club and recently bought a White 2013 JK Rubicon Unlimited (manual), I haven't done any mods yet but have been researching and making a long list :-)

Basically I want to setup my jk for touring and one day would like to do Simpson dessert, Cape York, CSR and Kimberley, .....

Here is my initial list, looking forward for suggestions and advice...

    - recovery gear - ?
    - cb radio (GME - )
-Rancho 3" Trail Suspension Lift Kit Red - so that I can put 35" tires...
    - Suspension -
    - uneek 4x4 - bull bar and rear bar
    - runva winch
    - tires -
    - rugged ridge tow bar - I just got this, hoping I could install it myself but the number plate is coming in the way, do you know who can help install it for me?
    .....
    ....

    Cheers
    Rahul

Sounds like a great build up ! The uneek bar is awesome and the longest part in installing it is taking the factory bar off!

Re the rear license plate - you'll need to relocate it either onto the spare tyre (uneek sell the plate but there are other manufacturers around that might not cost as much) there is also the mopar kit - if you can get it without the mopar towbar - this just moves the number plate so you can cut that tab off the original bumper off - here's one I prepared earlier:

    Hi All

After almost three years, I managed to get going with my build and got it all done last month (well at least the foundation bits :-)). Here is the list of mods...

    - AEV 2.5" lift kit with geometry correction brackets
    - AEV Snorkel
    - AEV rear differential slider
    - AEV Pro Cal
    - Smittybilt ATLAS front bar
    - Smittybilt ATLAS rear bar with tire carrier
    - 285/70r17 Federal Couragia Mud Terrains
    - Runva 11xp winch with synthetic rope
    - Breather hose extension for front, rear and one more - I forgot
    - Front number plate flip kit
    - Rear number relocation kit
    - home made rear mud flaps/kit?

I think that's pretty much it for now...

    Cheers,
    Rahul

Installed new Poison Spyder Ricochet Rockers, took few hours for installation, the one passenger side was hard, had to drill and tap holes in the chassis which took a while, but in the end it was worth the effort.

The sliders are pretty solid and heavy....

I will have remove and reinstall again after painting...
