Recce to Swing bridge via Jenolan forest

The recce was conducted Wednesday 20/11/13. The purpose of the trip was to determine if it would be suitable for "newbies" with little or no off road experience, and people with un-modified Jeeps.

Three vehicles made up the test team, 2 JKU sports, 1 2door JK Rubicon. The trip went off without accident or incident. The bridge is still there undamaged as the recent fires did not get into this area.

the objectives of the exercise were proven, and a club trip will be called in due course.

We had a great day, Mani found an alternative entry point which was more interesting than the 6ft track although we joined up with the 6ft further in. Changed the grade from D to C C+.
A lovely spot with a little beach, composting toilet and a hike up to the bridge makes a good day.
