Put the 07 Rubi in for a routine service to-day, usual change engine oil,change oil both diffs, change oil transfer case, when at lunchtime the mechanic rings to say the water pump is on its way out, and suggests he change it.
when I went to pick the Jeep up he had photos of the engine with horrid red stain below the water pump.
He showed me the dead pump which displayed evidence of the seal failing.

OH Year!!

Been there done that!

May I suggest you check the idler pulley! It may be on the way out too. This can slightly offset the belt and stress the water pump & seal.
