    Default Greg's 2014 Grand Cherokee

Placed my order today for a new Grand Cherokee Laredo.

Because I ordered the Off-Road Adventure Group II option, the car will need to be built, so it will be 4-6 months before delivery.

This gives me plenty of time to plan for the after market additions, including front bar & winch, 2.5 inch lift, snorkel, sliders, roof racks, a rear bar & tyre carrier (if they exist by then), new (bigger) tyres & new wheels, dual battery, light bar etc.

I am buying through National Car Search Australia, and have saved over 10% on the recommended retail price, per the Jeep Australia website.

I hope this is a long running thread!

    Hi Greg,
When I ordered my GC Laredo with the off road adventure pack, you had to have Quada-Lift as a co-requisite, has something changed?

Barry, The Quadra-Lift is now a separate option, and is not part of the Off-Raod Adventure Package. This package "includes skid plates for the fuel tank, transfer case, front suspension and underbody, Quadra-Drive II (which includes ELSD), Selec-Speed Control. I had considered the Quadra-Lift air suspension, but after talking to a few people at Camp Coffs and later to Stuart Murchinson, that for the use I plan for the vehicle, I decided to go with the spring lift instead.

Hunty, I have ordered a 'Bright White' vehicle, so no much to be gain from posting a photo of the model.

I will be tracking the build on the 'Jeep Garage' web-site once I get the details from the Dealer. I ordered it on the last day for orders for the MY14, so I don't know if I'll get that model, or the MY15 - as I read it, there are very changes planned between these models.

    Greg
