The first time this happened was at the Watagans, and I managed to convince the dealer that I had no idea how come the boot was torn, and they fixed it under extended warranty (about $500 worth). Don't think I'll get away with that again!
So its a new Tom Woods driveshaft for Christmas (or I'll just leave it for a bit).

That shaft will still last a few years just keep the slip joint lubed up. Mine lasted 3 years before it decided to give up.
