21 January - Begineers to Tourers C/D grade - Meryla SF
Where: 21 Jan - Meryla State Forest to Fitzroy Falls .
We drive in from Meryla Rd and we stop to air down near the Old Quarry on the left.. This quarry is great for picking different lines, from Hard to easy.. Will spend on 2 hrs horsing around here and then we will be off to drive Gunrock FT. This has a creek crossing and some rock steps and then finish the trip with a leisurely drive out via Fitzroy Falls.
When: 21 Jan
Meet: Moss Vale McDonald's @ 800 am
Time: 8:00 am for 8:30 departure. Please be fueled and fed.
Grade: C/D
Risk of damage - Unlikely (nothing guaranteed though).
Requirements: Radio, food/drink of choice, camera. Full fuel tank.
Recovery points front and rear. Recovery kit: snatch strap, rated shackles, dampener.
Recommended Protection, lift, side rails, larger All Terrain or Mud tyres.
This trip is suited for Beginners and Tough Tourers and Stock Jeeps (with some recovery likely)
This run is limited to: 10 - including lead vehicle.
